Wow, you pinned down the elusive Mr. hilbers for a interview, way to go! he has to be one of my all-time-favorite shaper/craftsman! He has been a major influence on my shaping and board building. I ride/own a couple of his noseriders, they'er insane! Everyone should own a shape of his, it will broaden your surfing experience.

ReplyDeleteAdmittedly, I didn't conduct the interview, I just stumbled across it and felt the need to put it up. Brian was the shaper I went to for my first custom and I dig his trip and his passion for what he does. Not to mention, the board he made me is too fun for words.
It looks like you're doing some nice work yourself. I'm particularly enamored of the pig shapes you've been producing.
